Theme: “Be in abundant faith“
Text: Psalms 14:1-5
1. A fool says in his heart: There is no God! They corrupted themselves, they committed abominable deeds; There is none who do good. 2. The LORD looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there is anyone who understands, Who seeks God. 3. All are astray, all are perverted; There is none who do good, Not even one. 4. Have all who commit iniquity lost their senses? They devour my people, they take them for food; They do not call on the Lord. 5. It is then that they will tremble with fear, When God appears in the midst of the righteous race.
Let's remember:
We must distinguish ourselves from fools. We recognize a fool as a person who has lost his mind, who has lost his reason, a person who is troubled, a person out of his common sense. Such a person is furious, he prays, he talks, he acts like a fool. So he's a crazy person. This is what a Christian looks like who has no faith or just a person who does not obey God and his Word. When we pray without conviction or when we lack fidelity and obedience to God; we are no different from a fool. God will regard us as fools as long as we miss the appointment of abundant faith. Everyone must yearn for the kingdom of God and His righteousness; by working to obtain it. However, this is only possible if we are in abundant faith. Now the LORD looks down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there is anyone who understands, who has faith and who seeks God. Let's not be of those who are foolish, but let's be of those who have faith to save their souls. Let us be of those who have abundant faith. Excellent faith Thursday. Amen Alain Louz.-
