Theme: “Be happy”
Text: Psalms 32:1-3
1. Of David. Song. Happy is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is forgiven! 2. Blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. 3. As long as I was silent, my bones were consumed, I groaned all day long;
Let's remember:
When sin has invited itself into our lives, through our misconduct, let us run quickly to our Lord Jesus who forgives all iniquity. We must lay aside every burden, and the sin that so easily envelops us, and let us run with perseverance in the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the leader and finisher of the faith, who, for the joy that reserved for him suffered the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Jesus welcomes all those who seek his forgiveness since he says in Matthew 11:28. “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29. Take my yoke upon you and receive instruction from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. 30. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Our joy is at its height when the Lord God takes pity on us and grants us remission of sins. He justifies us and restores our life that sin has already distorted. Happy is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is forgiven. Anyone who receives forgiveness for their sins is happier than someone who was given a sum of money and did not receive forgiveness. Sin eats away at joy until it completely destroys it. Blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. Such a person is happy even if he is materially destitute. Now, we know that he who is forgiven finds access to God's favors. Have a great Tuesday. Amen
