Theme: “Be filled with the Holy Spirit” Text: Exodus 31:1-5
1. The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 2. Know that I have chosen Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. 3. I filled him with the Spirit of God, wisdom, intelligence, and knowledge for all kinds of works, 4. I enabled him to make inventions, to work gold, silver and brass, 5. to engrave stones for setting, to work in wood, and to execute all kinds of works.
Let's remember:
Being filled with the Holy Spirit alludes to the dimension of revelation. A person filled with the Holy Spirit is a person who receives revelations from the holy throne of God. Such a person can be supplied with all kinds of spiritual capacity that can open up his intelligence to knowledge of areas that he has never learned. Therefore, let us not take advantage of skills and other natural aptitudes without attributing them to the provider of excellent graces. Indeed it is God who fills us with his Spirit to qualify us for all kinds of works to the point of being experts in them. What some will learn in school, those who are filled with the Holy Spirit, who are called to this grace; do it naturally and effortlessly. But also, they do it perfectly with a touch of sparkle to the finish. The result obtained always moves seasoned observers. Let us give thanks to God for what he has filled us with his Spirit of wisdom, understanding, and knowledge for all kinds of works. Let us make good use of it and ensure that no one takes advantage of it as if it were a merit when we all know that it is the expression of the grace of God. The great researchers, the geniuses, the creative inventors, the autodidacts and even the skilled workers carry a gift from God, which qualifies them for various works. Excellent Wednesday.
