Theme : " Aspire to the perfect stature of Christ " Text : Ephesians 5: 1-3

1. Therefore become imitators of God, like beloved children; 2. and walk in love, after the example of Christ, who loved us, and who gave himself to God for us as an offering and a sweet-smelling sacrifice. 3. Let not fornication, and any kind of uncleanness, and greed, be not even named among you, as befits saints.

Let us remember :

Anyone who would aspire to the perfect stature of Christ must be a beloved child of God, an imitator of God. Christ did not stop doing what He saw his Father do. He only did what his Father told him to do. He always looked like his Father like a beloved child. God walks in charity; Christ the firstborn from the dead walked in love; so we also walk in charity. To better aspire to the perfect stature of Christ, we must be like him. Jesus Christ went as far as self-sacrifice. He gave his most precious thing: his life. He did not like to preserve his life but He sacrificed it to save us. Being his imitator, we too sacrifice our lives to his work; let us become workers with Jesus, let us follow in his footsteps. Let us offer our youth for the service of Christ as Timothy did. Let us dedicate our minds to the cause of Christ. Let us sacrifice the desires of our flesh to win Christ and his sanctification. Thus, no kind of impurity will be named in us. Excellent Thursday. Amen Alain Louz.-
