Theme : " Aspire to the perfect stature of Christ " Text : Ephesians 3: 13-19

13. Also I ask you not to lose heart because of my tribulations for you: they are your glory. 14. Because of this I bow my knees before the Father, 15. from whom take their name all family in heaven and on earth, 16. that he may give you, according to the riches of his glory, to be mightily strengthened by his Spirit in the inner man, 17. so that Christ dwell in your hearts by faith; so that being rooted and grounded in love, 18. you may understand with all the saints what is the breadth, length, depth and height, 19. and know the love of Christ, which is beyond all knowledge, so that you will be filled to all the fulness of God.

Let us remember :

Paul bends his knees, interceding for them Ephesians so that their spiritual eyes open and the lanterns of their faith light up so that they can clearly see the immense expanse of God's love. We too, take advantage of this prayer to get to know the Lord; to aspire to the stature of Christ. We will only desire to be like Jesus very much when we meet him and therefore get to know him perfectly. But until Christ dwells in our inner man, Until he dwells in our hearts by faith, until we are rooted and grounded in love, we cannot aspire to the stature of Christ. Let us then take the tools which are proposed to us by Paul: let us not lose heart but let us bend our knees and our hearts; let us pray to the Lord God to open us to his grace; may he strengthen us mightily by his Spirit. Let us sigh further behind the stature of Christ. Excellent Wednesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
