Theme : " Aspire to the perfect stature of Christ "
Text : 1 Thessalonians 1: 1-5
1. Paul, and Silvanus, and Timothy, to the Church of the Thessalonians, which is in God the Father and in Jesus Christ the Lord: Grace be to you and peace! 2. We continually give thanks to God for all of you, making mention of you in our prayers, 3. constantly reminding us of the work of your faith, the work of your charity, and the steadfastness of your hope in our Lord Jesus Christ , before God our Father. 4. We know, brethren beloved of God, that you have been elected; 5. our gospel not having been preached to you in word only, but in power, with the Holy Spirit, and with full persuasion; for you are not unaware that we have shown ourselves thus among you, for your sake.
Let us remember :
We must long to be like our Lord Jesus Christ in whom no sin has been found. He is our model; each life should be tailored to its stature which is the specimen par excellence. The condition to achieve this remains rigor, stability, love, consecration, a life of prayer, in short, we would have to live the gospel without any compromise. On a daily basis, we must perpetuate the work of our faith, without fault and without respite. Likewise, let us perfect the work of our charity, raising its level as we move forward. Let us do violence to keep the steadfastness of our hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. Being elected is not enough, although it is necessary to go all the way so that nothing and nobody steals our crown. Let us live the Gospel not only in words, but with power, with the Holy Spirit, and with full persuasion. Excellent Monday. Amen Alain Louz.-
