Theme: “A church that bears fruit Text: Leviticus 26:3-4

3. If you follow my laws and keep my commandments and do them, 4. I will send you rain in its season, the earth will yield its produce, and the trees of the field will yield their fruit.

Let's remember:

Let us act faithfully according to all the law which Moses, the servant of God, commanded us; let us turn away neither to the right nor to the left, in order to succeed in everything we undertake. The greatest secret to success is hidden in obedience to God. However, it is very important to understand that our obedience would not be enough to have everything. Many people become discouraged after honoring God with increased obedience. If nothing is accomplished in their lives; they persevere for a while then stop to ask themselves if obedience to God really pays off? Through lack of patience and forgetting to wait for God's time, we end up falling into doubt. The best lesson on obedience is to do God's will and let God act according to His timing; without letting go. To those who think pagans succeed without obedience, Matthew 5:45 says “God loves everyone, because he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous.” . The turning point of disobedience is the day of judgment. The success of life on earth does not necessarily determine the eternal purpose. Joshua is categorical on this, he says without resigning himself in chapter 1 verse 8. “Let not this book of the law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, to act faithfully according to all that is written there; for then you will be successful in your undertakings, then you will be successful.” Follow God's laws and commandments; it is the only way that bears fruit. Have a great Thursday. Amen Alain Louz.-
